Ruedi Baur et présenté dans le cadre de l’exposition
« Entre interactions et interdépendances (tentatives de
mise en scène) » en janvier 2018 au Théâtre St-Gervais,
Genève. En collaboration avec Arnaud Chappuis.

Projections vidéo constituées d’images de flux prises sur le web en utilisant la rotoscopie. Cette technique consiste à isoler image par image les contours d’une figure filmée. Ce procédé met en valeur la dynamique des mouvements de l’objet : migration d’animaux, propagation de fumée, foule en déplacement, coulée de lave...
Cette collection de montages vidéo évoque les migrations climatiques et ses interdépendances dans une approche esthétique. Elle s’insère parmi les travaux des autres exposants sur les murs de l’espace. Les dispositifs de projection fixés au plafond par de discrets fils en nylon évoquent des éléments en lévitation.

Video projections made up of stream images taken on the web using the rotoscopy. This technique consists in isolating image by image the outlines of a filmed figure. This process highlights the dynamics of the object's movements: animal migration, smoke propagation, moving crowd, lava flow...
This collection of video montages evokes climatic migrations and its interdependencies in an aesthetic approach. It fits into the work of other exhibitors on the walls of space. Projection devices fixed to the ceiling by discrete nylon threads evoke elements in levitation.
